Expanding Women’s & Children’s Care: Dr. Jenifer Higgins Joins NMRMC Women's Health Center
Dr. Higgins brings experience in obstetrics, women’s health, and pediatric care to the region.
Chanute, KS - Neosho Memorial Women’s Health Center is excited to welcome Dr. Jenifer Higgins to its team of dedicated healthcare providers. Dr. Higgins brings a well-rounded background in Family Practice with Obstetrics (OB)—a specialty that blends family medicine with focused expertise in caring for women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Higgins offers comprehensive obstetrical care, women’s health services, and pediatric (children’s) medicine. She is accepting new patients at the Women’s Health Center in Chanute.

Dr. Higgins completed her FPOB residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch–Austin and her family medicine residency in San Antonio. She earned a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and her undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She and her husband relocated to Chanute from Hermleigh, Texas.
