The
Kansas Hospital Association honored Chanute attorney, John Rubow as a
2018 KHA Trustee of the Year in Kansas City on Thursday. Rubow serves
as chairman of the board for Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in
Chanute, Kansas and was one of 10 trustees recognized.
Rubow
has served 17 years on the board of trustees for one of the most
significant critical access hospitals in Kansas and has held the
position of chairperson since 2012. Rubow has governed during three
major building expansions; the opening of an orthopedic clinic, a
women's health center, and two rural health clinics. Today, Neosho
Memorial is the region’s largest employer.
