About the Foundation of NMRMC

The Foundation helps raise money that benefits the patients served by Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. 

As the steward of charitable contributions given in support of the medical center, the Foundation works to further the mission of Neosho Memorial. One touching project of the foundation was the purchase of equipment to test the hearing of newborns. By detecting hearing problems early in life, babies can receive the help they need as soon as possible. A few other projects include:

• Providing each newborn a swaddling blanket to increase comfort, the feeling of safety and safe sleep
• Host community education programs and events like Ladies Night Out for Breast Cancer Awareness
• Sponsoring four Dr. Bob Harwood - NMRMC Foundation Scholarships 
• Fund the USD 413 IMPACT Concussion Screening Program for Student Athletes
• Purchased five AED's for USD 101 schools
• Provide funding for flu vaccinations for USD 413 middle and high school students
• Donated $3,500 towards local outdoor activities for senior shut-ins
• Donated a CPR mannequin and AED for St. Paul Fire Department
